In response to increasing demand, the CACC is launching a Toronto Committee and is now accepting expression of interest. Initially co-Chaired by the CACC local Board of Directors, Greg McNab & Ross Campbell, the intention of this Committee is to set a structure and foundation for all other activities within the Canadian (i.e. Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, etc.) business community.

Introducing the Canada Committee

René Lalande

DIRECTOR & CO-CHAIR

René joined Transdev Australasia as Chief Executive Officer in September 2016. As CEO, René oversees more than 5,800 Transdev employees that deliver multimodal public transport services across Australasia.

René has nearly 35 years of experience in the public transport, automotive and aerospace industries, and has held numerous senior executive roles, such as including Vice President Operations at both Heroux Devtek and Spectra Premium Industries. René brings to Transdev a wealth of expertise having worked in both international and local markets, with previous projects in Canada and Mexico.

Greg McNab

DIRECTOR & CO-CHAIR

Greg McNab is a former mechanical engineer and partner in the Securities Group of the international law firm Baker & McKenzie’s Toronto office. Greg’s practice includes working with financial services, resource and energy companies both domestically and internationally, with a large portion of that work involving opportunities between Canada and Australia. Baker & McKenzie is one of the largest law firms in the world with offices all around the world in major finance centres.

Liz Tomkins

CREATIVE INDUSTRIES LIAISON

Liz Tomkins is a film and television producer based in Toronto. Liz works with Dicentium Films, an Australian media company that creates high-end genre content. Liz regularly attends international creative industries events such as the Cannes Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, and the Frontieres Film Market. In 2016, she founded Middle 8 Media which is a boutique film marketing company specialising in international promotions and representation.

Simon Selkrig

SME LIAISON

Simon Selkrig is President of Strategize Financial Modelling Inc. He has worked extensively with several companies in a number of financial, management and strategic positions. Simon has extensive experience working in industry and with clients in sectors such as financial services, real estate, energy and utilities, oil and gas, technology, property, retail and transportation.

Carolyne Huber

GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR

Carolyne Huber currently works at KPMG Australia within the Markets and Growth team. As an Associate Pursuit Leader she helps the firm's teams retain and win work. With over five years of professional tendering and project management expertise, Carolyne helps internal teams concisely express their value proposition and win pursuits.
