Bambi Price

CHAIR

Bambi Price is a Director of Student Partnerships. For over twenty years, as an owner-manager, Bambi has led multiple initiatives in the Information Technology and Communications industry. She has a recognised track record of success in evaluating and optimising technology projects for mature businesses and entrepreneurial ventures. Her primary focus in recent years has been actively assisting new ventures to develop innovative and sustainable early-stage start up initiatives. She also leads mature businesses in developing and furthering their growth by focusing on the introduction of new technologies.

Carolyne Huber

SECRETARY

Carolyne Huber currently works at KPMG Australia within the Markets and Growth team. As an Associate Pursuit Leader she helps the firm's teams retain and win work. With over five years of professional tendering and project management expertise, Carolyne helps internal teams concisely express their value proposition and win pursuits.

Sophie Galaise

HONOURARY MEMBER

Sophie Galaise joined the MSO as its first female Managing Director in April 2016. Sophie sits on the board of Symphony Services International and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Harvard Business Review, the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and The CEO Institute. Prior to her appointment to the MSO, Sophie was Chief Executive Officer of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Quebec Symphony Orchestra, and Executive and Artistic Director of the Orford Arts Centre.

Nigel Sabin

HONOURARY MEMBER

Nigel Sabin is a locally engaged trade commissioner for advanced technologies at the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney, a role he has held for eighteen years. In this capacity, he has devised and implemented many successful trade promotion initiatives such as trade missions to and from Canada in areas as diverse as telecoms, edutech, digital media, intelligent transport systems, smart cities, and fintech. Prior to his current role and following his appointments to the Australia Council for the Arts and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, he worked on the Consulate’s cultural and public affairs team.

Christine Furnell

EVENTS LIAISON

Christine Furnell is currently a Cost Controller for WSP Australia. Christine has worked for seven years in the same engineering firm in project accounting, management, marketing and events. She's currently working on a major highways project. Having family in Montreal, Christine sought out a role in the Toronto office and spent the last three years there as a Project Accounting Supervisor. This was an amazing opportunity not only to connect with my extended family and travel, but to broaden my industry knowledge working in another country.

Estelle Scanlan

Estelle Scanlan is the Market Growth Manager for National and International markets at MinterEllison. With over 15 years marketing experience across a number of industries, Estelle is responsible for developing and implementing Minter Ellison' international strategies for North America, North Asia, UK& Europe, Middle East and South East Asia, to increase visibility and nurture key relationships of the largest international law firm headquartered in Australia.

Jared Seminoff

AVEPOINT

Jared works with AvePoint, Microsoft's largest Independent Software Vendor focused on Microsoft 365 data migration, protection, and management. Based in Melbourne, Jared helps organisations to collaborate with confidence in hybrid work environments and guides clients through their digital transformation to the cloud.

Erik Denison

Monash University

Erik Denison is a researcher with Monash University’s Behavioural Science Laboratory. He is working with sporting organisations and researching methods to change discrimination and prejudicial behaviour in sport. Prior to becoming a behavioural change researcher, Erik had careers as both a communication/marketing strategist and a national journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Erik has won multiple awards in both industries.

Andrea Pane

ACP Lawyers

Andrea Pane is Director and Principal at ACP Lawyers Pty Ltd. Andrea’s primary focus since 1996 has been in the franchising sector, assisting clients across a diverse range of industries as they expand their businesses as they expand both in Australia and overseas, and advising them across a broad range of areas of commercial law.
